Welcome home Meek Mill indeed—the Philly rapper, who’s been putting in work recently with a steady stream of new songs (including his stellar “Energy” freestyle) just dropped a new video for his recent Jahlil Beats-produced single “Monster.”
Meek hits up Philadelphia’s Millennium Skate World with (presumably) his whole hometown crew—everyone’s dressed a little old school, to fit with the rink’s retro vibe (Meek even has an 80’s boombox in hand at one point). Maybe the best part is that the rapper is actually wearing roller skates in the video; for all his bravado, there’s something eternally humbling about putting wheels on your feet under the lights of a disco ball.
