“Ghost On ‘Em” is the one of those rare musical group efforts that seems contradictory on paper but works well in practice. Production duo Magic Fades (Mike Grabarek and Jeremy “No Relation” Scott) serve up a cloudy, twinkling beat, Shy Girls floats all over it on hook duty giving off an alternative R&B vibe, and #CultRap Leader Deniro Farrar comes through spitting gutturally savage bars, turning the clouds into a gathering storm.
And despite these seemingly incongruent elements, the track manages to be at turns sexy, violent, rambunctious, and introspective. Check it out below.
