Have you ever been to a party and gotten into a discussion with some drunk girl, and about 10 seconds into the conversation you notice she knows absolutely NOTHING about she’s talking about? From that point of realization the rest of your interaction is painful. As she blabbers on, you frantically scan for an exit. You make eyes at your friends like, “Help. Anyone. Please.” You wonder if she’ll ever stop talking so you can tell her you have to go to the bathroom, and then RUN. Fast.

I don’t know for sure, but this is the kind of girl I imagine Elohim is describing in her debut single, “She Talks Too Much.” The track is a luscious electro-pop production that nicely balances the L.A.-based singer’s ethereal vocals over anthemic synths and percussion.

“Words are powerful,” says Elohim. “They can turn you on or turn you off. Bring you down or lift you up. I just wanna be turned on, man.” Amen, girl. Listen to “She Talks Too Much” below.
