Eclectic British soul singer Ben Khan was never going to make just another video. The idiosyncratic artist, who also directs his own visuals, gives his latest single “1000” a mind-bending twist in the brand-new video, which you can check out above.
The constantly shifting video matches the song’s rapidfire pace—one second you’re with Khan in a small room with a typewriter (tapping away along with the song), one second you’re in an interminable dark hallway, one second you’re in a surrealist parlor alongside a beautiful woman in a jumpsuit and a dude with a well-waxed moustache. Oh, and there’s a casual statue with bleeding eyes.
Less than three minutes, the video still takes you on a trip. Look out for his second EP, also called 1000, to drop May 11 via his own imprint, Blessed Vice.
