There have been a lot of Marina and The Diamonds remixes over the years. Marina’s voice is as interesting as it is accessible, and she’s such a versatile vocalist that producers can get creative with the direction. The best remixes are always the ones that sound as natural as the original, and this MS MR remix accomplishes that nicely. It tones down the playful, dancefloor bounce in favor of a more grounded sound, and it almost sounds like a live band playing in a studio. Those driving drums change the whole mood, but the song still feels right.
