Father John Misty’s I Love You, Honeybear album may have gone under the radar when it dropped earlier this year, but we’re here to tell you the album had some gems in there. The title track got a special 12″ Record Store Day release on wonderful heart-shaped vinyl, including an acoustic version of the intro to the album, aptly titled “I Loved You, Honeybee.” The stripped version loses its piano, drums and violins and keeps the guitar, giving the song more of an intimate feel.

On the B-side of the limited edition vinyl, you will find “I’ve Never Been a Woman,” a track that wasn’t found on the album. Listen to the new version of “I Love You, Honeybear” above.
