Desert Sound Colony’s vibe is right there in the name: the UK producers make music inspired by “remembered sounds and almost forgotten memories” that sounds as isolated as an unearthed time capsule. “Cracks in my Soul” has a summery vibe, but beyond that it’s impossible to tell if it’s the soundtrack to a dream or a nightmare.
