2. Miley Cyrus
Twitter: @MileyCyrus
Instagram: @MileyCyrus
First of all, be warned: Miley Cyrus will quickly dominate your Instagram feed. She's very active, but she embraces the memes, which is always a good strategy. Things get pretty weird, but it provides a little insight into her offbeat, internet-informed sense of humor, and at the end of the day, we can appreciate that. It still doesn't mean that we'll be bumping the next Miley Cyrus album, though.

6. Plies

Forgive me, but I haven't listened to a Plies song in years. My brother and I used to listen to "Becky" in the whip as a goof, but that was the last Plies I bumped on the semi-regular. But every Saturday my Twitter feed is dominated by #SweetPwussySatday. That's lasting influence. That's a legacy. Not to mention his mastery of Instagram video and new Vine account. The man is a living legend for using rap as a springboard for social media savagery—and the occasional revelation.

13. Rejjie Snow
Twitter: @rejjiesnow
Instagram: @rejjiesnow
Let's make one thing clear: this placement is not a diss. Rejovich is still one of the most underrated EPs in recent memory, and Rejjie is a force to be reckoned with, musically. We just haven't heard enough music yet. In the meantime, Rejjie has kept his fans entertained with his social media presence.
His feed balances industry humblebrags and Weird Twitter memes with dick jokes and a soothing honesty. He's gained a following for the comfort he preaches as well as his music, determined to "win your hearts before I win a Grammy."
And don't forget to read with the accent: Rejjie's Irish roots are all over his posts, especially his hilarious Instagram account.

19. Lil B The Basedgod
Twitter: @LILBTHEBASEDGOD
Instagram: @DIORPAINT
Admittedly, this is an obvious choice, but Brandon McCartney's social media presence has arguably brought more positivity and humor into the world than his extensive and diverse musical output. He's tweeted about everything from being emo to eating gluton (sic) free pussy. His YouTube channel is an addictive whirlpool of one-man music videos, and he wears his foot fetish on his sleeve.
Hell, he even put a curse on Kevin Durant. Not to mention the fact that his #girltime movement has become a Twitter-wide phenomenon. The real question is how are you not following Lil B?

25. Riff Raff

Instagram: @JODYHIGHROLLER
Riff Raff is an entertainment mogul. There's a chicken-and-egg dilemma when it comes to Riff Raff's music and online antics, but there is no doubt that his tweets (often-rhyming, always outrageous) are a must-see.
HE BiRTHED THiS STYLE OF TYPiNG. His Vines are the best things that have ever come out of traffic jams. His name on Twitter is constantly reaching new levels of absurdity (currently Peach Python).
These days, however, fans seem more concerned with rushing the stage than listening to "Aquaberry Dolphin." Maybe it's for the best.

31. DVS
Twitter: @dvsblast
This is another unique case, because DVS is a dope rapper who just happens to be better known for his Twitter presence. I have all the faith in the world that DVS' next project DVTV will be game-changing, I just have no idea how the man has found time to record in between writing surreal springtime guides and churning out hilariously absurd tweets at a prodigious pace.
He's an absolute dynamo. You might not "get" his tweets, but you will bust a stitch laughing trying to figure them out.

39. Ezra Koenig
Twitter: @arze
Instagram: @arze
I'm sliding this one in here on a technicality: if anybody asks, I'm talking about Ezra's sparse solo material, not his brilliance as Vampire Weekend's vocalist, songwriter and frontman.
Whether it's tweets about the definition of 'fuckboy' or his Instagram 'selfys', Ezra has one of the most unique personal brands on the Internet and should be an essential follow on any #influencer's timeline.

44. Cher
Twitter: @cher
Cher is a queen, that much is certain. But she hasn't been musically with it since she made Auto-Tune a thing with "Believe." Her tweets are amazing, though. She's open about her dyslexia, and it doesn't stop her from voicing her opinion, talking politics, and sharing whatever random thoughts pop into her head.

50. Rivers Cuomo
Twitter: @riverscuomo
Look, I love Pinkerton as much as Rivers loves these half-Japanese girls, but Weezer haven't been cultural mainstays since "Beverly Hills." That doesn't seem to bother Rivers Cuomo much. The frontman retains the self-aware, off-beat sense of humor on Twitter that endeared Weezer to so many.
He also has a strange website that reveals a meditation habit and recaps of his Skype conversations. Rivers has layers.

54. Soulja Boy
Twitter: @souljaboy
Instagram: @souljaboy
Mr. Deandre Way was at the vanguard of #InternetRap, showing up in everyone's LimeWire downloads folder seemingly overnight. Years later, Souljerrr is better known for his relentless Instagram flexing and tweets that range from non sequiturs to inspirational mantras to confessions (did you know Soulja Boy liked anime? Now you do.)
