Fetty Wap is back in the studio, on the hunt for the next “Trap Queen.” This time, he’s enlisted producers Baauer and Dubbel Dutch thanks to adidas’ Songs From Scratch series. In the video below, the trio gets to work writing and producing their first collaboration—the as-yet-untitled song features Dubbel Dutch’s signature air-y synths, which work as easily with Fetty Wap’s restless vocals as they did with Popcaan’s island lilt.

Watch below for a glimpse of the singer’s writing process, as he writes lyrics on his iPhone and searches for the perfect beat—this song is going to be something else.

UPDATE: Dubbel Dutch has previewed part of the finished track, which is apparently called “Promises,” on his Instagram, listen here.
