In this short documentary titled We’re Gonna Be Lords, director Robert Lopuski—the man behind the Watch The Throne documentary—follows four artists from the birthplace of hip-hop. The documentary was made to depict the world of young New York hip-hop. In just under ten minutes, we get a glimpse of the way Action Bronson, Flatbush Zombies, The Underachievers and Le1f all feel about their current place in music.

In between shots of each artist being profiled, they are also quick glimpses of the children who will grow to idolize them—hence the title We’re Gonna Be Lords. Although they are all early in their careers, each of them have already begun to have an impact on each of their listeners.
