Fresh off a trip to SXSW, Tei Shi returns in a big way with her latest single “Go Slow.” It’s part of her Verde EP, and today’s offering is one of her strongest yet.
Channeling the likes of Blood Orange and FKA Twigs, Tei Shi deliver a barrage of breathy melodic acrobatics, taking turns in the spotlight with a big bouncy bass and some feather-light synths.
“Go Slow” also comes with news of a tour: Tei Shi will hit the road with Låpsley and Shy Girls this spring, going from North America to the U.K. in the span of a couple months. Those dates are below, but make sure you take the time to sink in to “Go Slow” first.
