LA Priest - "Oino"

If you were on the indie blogs in the mid-2000s, you might have come across a band called Late of the Pier. They released their debut album, produced by Erol Alkan, in 2008, then disbanded in 2009, leaving behind the a trail of bouncy, danceable, synth-pop with a DIY edge.

Now, the lead singer from Late of the Pier, Samuel Eastgate, has a new project in the works as LA Priest, which will come out on Domino. “Oino” is the lead single, and it feels like a refined version of  what made Late of the Pier so much fun—electronics, spiky guitar, and bright vocals blending together for an immersive pop experience

The video is a lot fun too, check it out above. Buy the single here.
