UPDATE: Annie Mac’s interview with Jamie xx includes the second track “Gosh.” You can listen to that here, around the 24:00 mark.

Jamie xx is gearing up for the release of his debut solo album In Colour, announcing that it would be out in June in a Mixmag interview and then sharing some short clips of the album songs on his website here. We already knew “Girl” and “Sleep Sound” would be on the record, and today, on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show (which she recently took over from Zane Lowe), he premiered two new songs.

The first is “Loud Places,” featuring his The xx bandmate Romy and boasting a huge chorus which makes use of a brilliant sample. You can listen to “Loud Places” and a short interview with Romy below—the stream of the second track “Gosh” will be online soon.

Jamie xx’s In Colour is set to be one of the year’s best releases—stay tuned for more soon.
