With the turmoil surrounding the Young Money/Cash Money debacle still roiling, Lil Wayne has released a powerful new video for his “CoCo” rework. It’s the same song that had Weezy whipping microphones after his DJ played the original at a show instead of Wayne’s version.
The remix comes from Wayne’s Sorry 4 The Wait 2 mixtape. The video was directed by Eif Rivera and features Wayne physically caged on an empty stage, spliced with some violent, explosive imagery and archival footage from happier days with Birdman.
