It’s always weird getting introduced to a song via a remix, but that’s what happened with this song from Dead Right!, the Los Angeles duo comprised of singer Graham Knoxx and producer/instrumentalist Alex Goose. They got producer Gianni Lee to remix their debut single “Rising Tide” into an eclectic, dance-friendly jam led by the catchy vocals and an assorted blend of electronic elements and adrenaline-inducing percussion.
Going back to the more synth-driven original, it’s just as upbeat and infectious, but the Gianni Lee remix has some muscle to it. Both are awesome—now we just need to decide which version we like better.
