Last month Lapalux announced that his second album Lustmore would be releasing on April 7 via Brainfeeder. He followed the announcement with “Closure,” the first single from the album. Now he’s given us the second single “Don’t Mean A Thing” which showcases a different sound than his previous track. The varying sounds on the two singles gives us a better preview of what the whole album may sound like.
His first single provided a somewhat seductive sound while “Don’t Mean A Thing” gives off more of a relaxing, hypnotic vibe. It seems fair to say that Lapalux’s production can create the appropriate soundtrack to many different occasions, as well as moods.
