The last time we saw Erykah Badu on a live news broadcast, she was hilariously video bombing a reporter on the streets of New York. Badu recently found her way onto a live broadcast once again, but this time with the reporter’s knowledge. During a broadcast about multiple flight cancellations due to terrible weather, CBS reporter Steve Pickett spotted Badu as one of the many people stranded in the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport and put the camera on her.
Luckily for him, and for the rest of us, Erykah Badu is extremely charming and she of course shined throughout her short cameo on the news. When Pickett asked how her long wait in the airport was going, Badu simply replied: “It’s hard out here for a pimp, you know!” Never change Erykah.
