Ab-Soul is taking a chance with this one, warning that he might even get dropped for his label for leaking this, but he doesn’t seem to care all that much. Produced by Alchemist, “47 Bars” is just straight rapping over a mellow beat. It’s nice to hear Ab-Soul back to what he does best, eschewing the high-concept based approach of These Days in favor of back to basics style that showcases just how unique a rapper he can really be.
