Sometimes the most unexpected collaborations produce the best results, and “Ice Rink” is a clear example of two worlds colliding and creating something new that works. Cashmere Cat says, "me and mustard started this song in his studio in burbank january last year.. very excited to let u hear the first of many beats we did together."
3. Life In Film - "Get Closer"
London band Life In Film's "Get Closer" is a buoyant, instantly lovable jam that sounds a little like a British Vampire Weekend. Their upcoming LP was produced by Stephen Street (The Smiths, Kaiser Chiefs), and "Get Closer" is a great taste of things to come, so keep an ear out, and follow them on SoundCloud here.

5. WELL$ - "Bike Safety"
Sometimes positive ideas can be inspired by negative situations and that seems to be the case for WELL$ latest track "Bike Safety." After unfortunately hitting a biker, the North Carolina native recorded a track over Jai Paul's "Jasmine" with a self explanatory title.
6. Disclosure - "White Noise" (Todd Edwards Edit)
As a thank you to Disclosure for having him on their show's line up, Todd Edwards made an edit of their hit "White Noise." The original track is already a dance-worthy single but this version breaks it down a little bit more into an extended cut perfect for a party.
7. Jon Waltz - "I'm Lonely"
"I'm Lonely" is the first new offering from Jon Waltz since his debut EP Alyss, and he shows off his melodic rapping style once again. Waltz told Complex about the song's meaning:
"Really it reminds me of this girl that I got a teddy bear for last year, but she started messing around with somebody else, that's why that voicemail from my engineer, Paul, is in there. The concept of it is being around a significant other, but they're scared to open up because they've been broken down so much, but they're still a blast to be around. Just that playful romanticizing between a boy and a girl when you're discovering each other."
8. Louis Futon - "Take Off"
Philadelphia's Louis Futon has been making futuristic funk-splosions for a while now. His songs are full of technical wizardry and brash electronic experimentation, instrumental orchestrations that are rarely in need of a vocalist.
Today he releases the Louis Futon EP, seven (free) tracks that showcase the full length and width of Futon's sparkling production. Standouts include the opener "Take Off" and the warped smooth jazz head-knocker "Sir Rock." Download them all here.
9. Brockhampton - "Bet I"
Brockhampton is a "boy band." Their track "Bet I" features Kevin Abstract, Matt Champion, Ameer Van, Joba, Poofie, and Merlyn Wood. It has an infectious beat, an immediately catchy hook, and even a second half switch-up that almost sounds as if it could be a totally different song.
10. IYES - "Simmer (live)"
English duo IYES posted this live version of their song "Simmer" to SoundCloud this week. It's the second single we've heard from the two recently, and this stripped down, hushed acoustic performance provides a stark contrast to "Glow."

A fresh, young producer by the name of Après looks back to the past and pays homage to Frankie Knuckles on his new track "Chicago." It's a colorful house track, perfect for vibing out to.
13. Cathedrals - "OOO AAA (Tunji Ige Remix)"
San Francisco duo Cathedrals are releasing an EP called Blush on February 24, reimagining the tracks from their debut EP with remixes from various artists. Tunji Ige is the first to step up, adding much harder drums and a new verse.
14. Air Max '97 - "Chasm (Iglooghost Remix)"
The fine folks at The Astral Plane have put together a bunch of remixes of tracks from their Heterotopia release. Generally club-focused remixes come from Druid Cloak, Iglooghost, Sharp Veins, Patrick Brian, Fraxinus, She’s Drunk and Chants. You can grab the full compilation on a name your price basis here.
15. JUDE. - "Without You"
Florida duo JUDE. have put out an impressive few tracks and their newest song "Without You" follows suit. The production starts dark and eerie with a hushed tone and abruptly opens up into a much bigger sound, all while the vocals weave in and out of effortlessly.
16. Hodgy Beats - "HakuemeniB"
Hodgy Beats released his free Dena Tape 2 this week, twelve tracks with features from Hitboy and fellow Odd Future member Domo Genesis. Left Brain, Hit-Boy, Sap and Marvel Alexander contributed production.
"HakuemeniB" is one of the standouts—this is Hodgy's first solo project, and it looks like the man was honing his craft while he watch Tyler and Earl's stars ascend.
17. This Mash-Up of OG Maco and Korean Rap Song "It G Ma"
The genius KickRaux made a mash-up of OG Maco's "U Guessed It" and the Korean rap song that sounds incredibly similar. Double the craziness.
