Like the work of many young artists with access to flexible tools and wide-ranging tastes, Brooklynite Richie Quake’s Visions EP pulled from myriad genre influences, often feeling more like an interesting rag doll with its seams showing than a fully streamlined creation.

New single “Robonuthin” marks an evolution from Quake’s pretty, raw debut, combining threads of hip-hop and gentle rock into Quake’s most fluid composition yet, beautiful and mellow, with sufficient added edge as it moves through Richie’s verse and hook to featured rapper Gabe Nandez’s appearance.
