Premiere: Hiko Momoji - "Mirage Island"

While we are all fully aware of the bad rep that is associated with EDM, the briefest survey of Soundcloud will show that there is a huge amount and variety of excellent electronic music being made. New York-based Hiko Momoji is setting the tone for 2015 with his debut track “Mirage Island.” He says:

This song is all about taking that #feels journey down to mirage island when you have that special feeling for somebody. Having that strong connection to another person is like going to Mirage Island for me, and I can only visit that place when I have that feeling.

The single is fresh off Hiko Momoji’s debut EP, Howl, which is set for release in February. If you’re feeling these vibes, wait until you hear the track “Late Nights,” which features Awful Records’ Father and Abra.
