Jimmy Napes has been the man behind the hits as a songwriter for Disclosure, Sam Smith, and Mary J. Blige, but he’s stepping out into the spotlight with his The Making of Me EP, due out March 9. “Give It Up” sparkles with lush production from Howard Lawrence, one half of Disclosure, and, as you’d expect from such a skilled songwriter, boasts a bright and uplifting chorus.
