A new year means a clean slate, and Justin Bieber is apparently milking this opportunity for all that it’s worth. There’s word going around that he’ll be releasing new music later this year, but there’s one detail that may set this new Bieber album apart.
According to TMZ, Justin Bieber is currently working with Rick Rubin. Yes, that Rick Rubin—the same prolific producer who’s collaborated with Beastie Boys and Kanye West. Biebz posted a photo to his Shots page that shows him with the producer together in the studio last night.
The caption “With the man Rick” could really be referring to any old Rick, but judging by that beard, the truth is undeniable: it’s definitely Rick Rubin’s.
