Thanks to the recommendation of Jessie Ware’s, we were introduced to this beautiful collaboration last summer. The idea of Emile Haynie getting Sampha, Dev Hynes and Charlotte Gainsbourg together on a track is exciting enough. But the results proved to be greater than some of us probably imagined. Now Emile Hayne has released another version of their collaboration “A Kiss Goodbye.”
Somehow, the reprise is arguably even better than the original. This track is an extended version of the original but both are so good that it’s understandable if you can’t seem to pick which one you prefer more. Haynie released this special bonus reprise along with news that he’ll be releasing a 12″ this coming Tuesday, January 20 as well as a debut LP in the coming months.
