It’s been a minute since Daytrip blew our minds, and it’s interesting to see that business has picked up for this duo.
A trip to Jamaica netted them an unreleased Vybz Kartel track, “Up To The Crime,” which they took and crafted into a hybrid future dancehall banger. What’s even better is that they got a viciously vivid video done for the track. Taking place in West London, we get to see a day in the life of a nameless protagonist that’s deep in “the life.”
This clip was apparently shot on location with no real actors, and truly feels like the “little documentary” that director Act Natural described it as.
