By now, we should all be aware that the artist known as Grimes is an interesting character. Anyone who has wondered what goes on in Claire Boucher’s mind obviously hasn’t been following her entertaining blog on Tumblr, actuallygrimes. Without realizing how overly ambitious it was to go back and examine every single thing Grimes has posted on her blog since 2013, we thought it would be cool to highlight some of the most interesting, videos, artists, and curiosities that we found. To be honest, the hours spent digging deep in the archives wasn’t even the hardest part—narrowing down the findings was our biggest challenge.

So, from Danish duos to K-Pop to crazy kids videos, get lost in Grimes' world with these 15 awesome things we discovered on Grimes' blog, accompanied by what she had to say about each of them.

Note: We kept everything in context with Grimes' quotes from her original post, because if there’s one thing she hates more than being misquoted in the press, it’s the media invading her privacy and using her unfiltered opinions against her.

repost from fuckedandrejected:

In a country like Japan where new youth-quakes and western-influences clash with centuries old traditional culture/social norms, girls like the multi-talented couple, Aya Sato and Bambi care, but won’t let such views stop them from living life the only way they know how—openly, and as their authentic selves. Yes, even though same-sex marriage is illegal in Japan, Aya Sato and Bambi are gay and engaged. As a duo, they dance, model, and are multi-media artists. And as they continue to blowup on social media (including on this blog), they are bound to only get bigger. Stay on the lookout for these girls. They’re the real deal. In this video, Aya Sato performs in DJ Zinc's “Show Me”.
