On Weekend Money’s Freddie Merkury project, “Break Spinal” was just a 48-second interlude. It was a tease, but today they give it the attention it deserves—the track has been extended with a little help from Well$ and Kool A.D. With a spacious beat and sedated deliveries, this is a chill affair, but thanks to revamped production from Baghdaddy, it still bangs.
Weekend Money will be playing The Studio at Webster Hall tonight. It’s the last show they’ll play this year, before heading out on their first international tour in Australia.
