Video Premiere: Electric Wire Hustle - "Bottom Line"

The L.A. River is famously low on water, mostly empty, and strangely peaceful. It’s been home to countless epic moments in film (see: Terminator 2, The Dark Knight Rises, Chinatown), but Electric Wire Hustle has the river all to themselves in their new video for “Bottom Line.”

The New Zealand duo of Mara TK and David “Taay Ninh” Wright released their second album Love Can Prevail in September. Their dark, skittering percussion and out-front vocals have made for a quick ascension—EWH is signed with Okayplayer and Somethinksounds and are currently touring their native island.

The video for “Bottom Line” was directed by Vibol Moeung. His camera stays fixated on the river, slowly making its way up the massive trench with the vocalist Mara as company. Stream above and check out Love Can Prevail on iTunes.
