1.

Brooklyn-based producer Sweater Beats killed it in 2014. He went on tour with Chance The Rapper and released the excellent Cloud City EP, which showed his versatility as a producer and artist. From the Rustie-esque "Cloud City" to the bright electronic pop of "Dark Matter," Sweater Beats' influences come from all over, so we decided to ask him what his five favorite tracks of 2014 were. From Sinjin Hawke to Shlohmo and Jeremih, you already know that Sweater Beats has great taste.

2. Sinjin Hawke - "Prom Nite"

Sweater Beats says:

The Pelican Fly Feathers compilation was probably the first thing I bought in 2014, it was a great start to the year musically. Sinjin really can do no wrong, and I think this is one of his most outstanding tracks.

3. Doja Cat - "So High"

Sweater Beats says:

Doja is such a boss and this song will forever be on the soundtrack to my life. What more can I say.

4. Shlohmo & Jeremih - "No More"

Sweater Beats says:

This whole Shloremih project is amazing. I think this project was one of the first times the bedroom producer realm collided with the mainstream, and that made it really exciting for me.

5. Kimbra - "Goldmine"

Sweater Beats says:

I listened to this track a million times when her album came out. This song is anthemic, it gives me goosebumps whenever the chorus hits.

6. P. Morris - "Grace"

Sweater Beats says:

I’ve known Morris for a long time, and his work is always super inspired. This track is absolutely nuts and is so meticulously crafted.
