Having only released their sophomore album Lese Majesty a few months ago, Shabazz Palaces are back with “Ham Sandwich.” Though drab in title (when was the last time you had a ham sandwich that held your attention?), the single is anything but that, with the Seattle duo once again demonstrating their knack for unique soundscapes, this one featuring shuffling production and hypnotic, off-kilter vocals. Perhaps more importantly, though, “Ham Sandwich” is a short but very sweet way to wrap up a successful year for Shabazz Palaces.
