LuckyMe’s annual musical advent calendar is coming to an end but it looks like it will be ending on a strong note. The two latest additions are pretty different in sound but have two important common factors: both songs have a high level of energy and are both provided by LuckyMe’s own artists.
Yesterday’s release was brought to us by Scottish producer S-Type. While today’s track was provided by Montreal native Lunice. The production on S-Type’s track “Amoco” is hypnotically bouncy. Even without any vocals, there’s still an apparent amount of character throughout the song. Lunice’s track “Weather Man” on the other hand does have lyrics—which are provided by CJ Flemings—and is a bit catchier because of that. But on both tracks, it’s the production that really stands out.
