2. Fyfe - "Through The Wire" (Kanye West Cover)

If you're looking for a faithful cover of Kanye West’s "Through The Wire," you're not going to find it in Fyfe’s take on the 2003 classic. While the melody of the song is kept mostly intact, the producer adds quick-paced percussion and layers pitched vocals—no rapping here—for a completely different effect. Download it here.

3. Childish Major ft. Jace - "Catfishin'"

Childish Major’s known for his impressive production, but on "Catfishin'" he also takes on the duty of vocalist. The single, which is about the internet phenomenon as opposed to the diverse group of ray-finned fish, also features ATL rapper/Two-9 member Jace.

4. Jeh Sea Wells - "Xmas '97"

Jeh Sea Wells continues with his brand of moving, nostalgic music on his latest release, "Xmas '97." The Arkansas native's voice sounds as striking as ever, raw with vulnerability, and will leave you wanting to hear more from this rising talent.

5. Kweku Collins - "Lonely Lullabies"

I'm used to discovering great rap songs on Jon Tanners' "5 On It" feature, which we publish here at Pigeons & Planes every Saturday. But this one. I was not expecting this one. Read more about Kweku Collins here.

6. Anna of the North - "Oslo"

Looking to her hometown for inspiration, Anna of the North shared "Oslo" to show appreciation for those who've supported her this past year. If her saccharine vocals and the shimmering production on the song are any indication, she'll likely be receiving a lot more support in 2015.

7. Weekend Money ft. WELL$ & Kool A.D - "Break Spinal"

At first listen, you may think that you've heard this song before, and you're not wrong—it originally existed as an interlude on Weekend Money’s Freddie Merkury. Now, "Break Signal" has become a fully fledged song, refreshed with touched up production and verses from Well$ and Kool A.D..

8. Future ft. Kanye West - "I Won (T.I.P's Champion Remix)"

T.I.P., or Two Inch Punch, takes on Future and Kanye West’s "I Won" and creates a skittering, hyperactive remix that's a little more dance floor ready.

9. Stwo - "Lovin U"

In celebration of breaking 20 million total plays on SoundCloud, Stwo shares his moody, sensual "Lovin U" as a free download. Revisit the track, which appears on the producer's debut EP Beyond, below, and download it here.

10. Seven Davis Jr. - "Get Serious"

Texas-born, California-raised Seven Davis Jr.'s latest single is titled "Get Serious," but the funky, fun production suggest otherwise. Paired with Davis Jr.'s husky vocals, the result is something that's definitely more seductive and playful than serious. Download here.

11. Spector - "Don't Make Me Try"

After a lengthy hiatus, UK-based band Spector returns with a bold Dev Hynes-produced song that features lush instrumentation and a catchy melody. This will appear on Spector's forthcoming sophomore album, the release date of which has yet to be announced. Download via the button with the downward arrow in the bottom right corner of the player below.

12. Sunny Moonshine - "Truth (Gabe Niles Edit)"

You may remember Virginia duo Sunny & Gabe for their debut project Free Candy, but these two creatives have been collaborating in different capacities for interesting results. Gabe Niles' edit of Sunny's "Truth" elevates Sunny's vocals to mesmerizing heights, a lovely lullaby for adults.

13. 18+ - "Rebirth"

18+ followed their intriguing single "Crow" with Trust, a debut album full of unsettling pop music that mixes haunting vocals and jarring production. Now, they're giving away their 2012 song "Rebirth" in exchange for your email address. Grab it here.

14. Four Tet - "Parallel Jalebi (HudMo Remix)"

Another cold December day, another entry into LuckyMe's annual musical advent calendar. This one is Hudson Mohawke remix of Four Tet’s "Parallel Jalebi," long a staple in both artist's DJ sets, and now out in the world for all to enjoy.

15. HAERTS - "Heart"

Brooklyn-based quartet HAERTS recently released their self-titled album, and in an effort to continue celebrating this feat, they've shared the opening track from the album, "Hearts," as a free download. Grab the feel-good song here.
