Video: Jones - "You"

After the success of her debut “Deep,” London’s Jones returns with her second song “You” and a video to match. The video follows in the vein of SBTRKT’s “video experiments,” a static image that evolves slowly with the song. In this case, Jones pours a gluey wash of color over her artwork, slowly revealing the blurred face underneath.

The song itself features Jones’ wavy, cooing vocals weaving in and out of some stark and vicious percussion. It’s a little more pulled back and sultry than “Deep”—less Solange, more SZA. “You” was produced by A.K. Paul (brother of Jai). Listen/watch above.
