The Notorious B.I.G. and Faith Evans Joint Album is in the Works

The Notorious B.I.G.’s widow, Faith Evans, has announced The King and I, a joint project featuring the singer and her late husband. “It’s something that I’ve been thinking about doing for many, many years,” she says during an interview with Hip Hollywood. “I finally got all my ducks in a row to try to make it happen.” The album is set to feature “unheard music,” according to Faith and she says she was inspired by Natalie Cole and Nat King Cole’s Unforgettable…With Love.

Evans just started working on the project and is promoting her latest album Incomparable, but she expects the Biggie joint project to be completed “in the next year or so.” While you wait on this album, you might want to listen to these great Notorious B.I.G. mash-ups.
