There’s something about the way Brooklyn-based producer Two Parent Home crafts his sounds that really sets him apart. Channeling video game atmospheres without ever approaching the dated sounds of midi and 16-bit era compositions, his productions swirl as if providing the backing to some kind of climatic battle. “Nightmares” finds Two Parent Home collaborating with fellow New Yorker Little Pain, with said climatic battle manifesting itself in the form of Pain’s tortured verses.

Two Parent Home’s instrumental matches the forlorn tone as Pain struggles to come to terms with loss, resulting in a gloomy track hellbent on having its hook lodged in your head for days to come, similar to how Pain’s torment remains in his. Listen to “Nightmares” below, and look out for Little Pain’s upcoming mixtape l.i.t.t.l.e soon.
