Earlier this year Nick Hakim charmed many of us with his impressive EPs Where Will We Go Pt. 1 and Where Will We Go Pt. 2. His soulful voice is reminiscent of another time. And his latest video seems to fit that theme very well.
The video for “The Light” starts off with images that seem similar to old homemade movies. The old film quality of those black and white visuals pair perfectly with Hakim’s voice but soon the visuals revert back to colorful surreal images that we can only assume are his dreams. The video gives us a preview of a combination of the imagery from Nick Hakim’s memories and imagination.
