Locked Concept is a new label from Australia spearheaded by talented producer Lockjaw. According to the label, its aim is to be a "platform to enable creative control and ensure a high quality marriage of visual and auditory art forms." By the sounds of their first release from Lockjaw, a two-track sampler of what's to come, they're definitely on the right track.

Sad boy Little Pain asks an important question—"what's your issue?"—before getting a little more introspective and divulging in his own issues. It's an odd but intriguing track that features ISSUE and uses elements of Aphex Twin's "Icct Hedral." Be on the look-out for Little Pain's forthcoming album, L.I.T.T.L.E., due December 2.

Killer Mike released a gem from the vaults this past week, an 18-track mixtape from 2008 titled Sunday Morning Massacres. Even though it's apparently a collection of freestyles, Mike nonetheless sounds as ferocious and full of conviction as ever. Harlem based artist Phil Walker reached out to P&P and the Slimarous-featuring "Excessive Culture" is an intriguing cut that sounds as if it's taken inspiration from far-away places. It's a refreshing break from formulaic rap, and a nice first taste of what Walker has to offer.

Sounding a little something like the most triumphant fart you've never had, Hunt For The Breeze's horn-laden "Louis XIV" is just as majestic as its title might suggest.
