In celebration of his new album Our Love releasing today, Caribou also released the video for the title track. What appears to be an upbeat track finds a deeper meaning as the video goes on.
In the “Our Love” video, we follow an older woman as she goes about her day and reminisces on her past. The video’s director, Ryan Staake, described the concept of the video to be contrasting “the seeming limitless of youth with the reality of death in later years.” The visuals are an emotional but truthful display of how all good things must eventually come to an end.
