Redditors, rejoice. Snoop Dogg is on board.
Reddit’s latest round of fundraising saw the internet switchboard pull in $50 million from investing tycoons like Sam Altman and Peter Thiel. Snoop and 30 Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto are also listed as investors.
The money will be used to further “product development, expand our community management team, build out better moderation and community tools, work more closely with third party developers to expand our mobile offerings.” The company recently launched an AMA app. You can read reddit’s full post here.
In other news, Snoop just released a song with Flava Flav. “Move Them Chains” is a theme song for Bishop Gorman High School, where Snoop’s son Cordell Broadus is enrolled. Snoop suggests you “sing it at all the games.” No word yet on a Snoop/Leto collaboration, but last time I checked, reddit didn’t have a theme song, and Coolio is taken. Just a suggestion.
