Another day, another new track from Rome Fortune. The rising star out of Atlanta has been on a tear since the beginning of the year, and as we’re about to enter November, he’s still showing no signs of letting up. Today, through a new interview with Noisey, we get the Suicideyear-produced “No Drugs Anymore,” the fifth collaboration between Rome and the buzzing producer.
“No Drugs Anymore” is slurred and spacey, Rome floating over the atmospheric production with super smooth, tuned vocals and delivering an ode to temptation in multiple forms of the word. He’s quickly established himself as one of the most versatile up-and-comers in hip-hop, and this new cut is further proof. The mood is sensual and mysterious, making for yet another repeat-worthy record and a sign of undeniable progression.
