L.A.-based producer P. Morris is having a busy year. He released his first ever mixtape, the plainly titled but impressively atmospheric Debut, accompanied by 3D interactive environments that you could explore as you listened. On top of that, he dropped a track with Kelela, “OICU,” and toured as the support for FKA twigs on her North American tour.
He is keeping the momentum going with a new EP, Beloved, out October 28 via Bear Club Music Group, and today we’re happy to premiere the lead single, “Before You Disappear.” It’s a slow-moving track that starts with tangle of fuzzy, manipulated vocals, before this beautiful, crystalline pedal steel appears fleetingly, teasing you each time with its beauty, before receding back into the mist.
