Angel Olsen has found a spare moment while on tour to share some new music. “May As Well” is a bonus track from Olsen’s breakout album Burn Your Fire For No Witness. It’s just Olsen and her guitar this time around, a bittersweet folk tune that showcases her range and the trademark sincerity inherent to her voice and lyrics. Comparisons to Roy Orbison are inevitable and well-deserved.
The bonus track comes as part of a deluxe edition of Burn Your Fire For No Witness, one of five songs that didn’t make it onto the final product. It’s due for release November 18. In addition to “May As Well” we can look forward to “White Water,” “All Right Now,” “Only With You,” and “Endless Road.” Stream “May As Well” below.
