15 Free Songs You Should Download Right Now

Every Sunday we collect the best free music we can find and put it all in one place. If you fell behind or just feel like building up your iTunes, we've got you covered. Here are 15 free songs for you to download, in no particular order. Enjoy.

1.

2. Rich Gang - "730"

The new Rich Gang mixtape (starring Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan, and Birdman) is worth downloading in its entirety, but if you aren't convinced, just check out "730." Young Thug steals the show here, and that production by London on da Track is the perfect backdrop.

3. HAIM - "My Song 5 (Movement Remix)"

HAIM’s "My Song 5" has already been remixed by A$AP Ferg, and now Australian trio Movement have come along and made their own version. With Lewis Wade's vocals replacing HAIM's, and slow-motion, bass-filled production, this is a real late night take on the punchy original.

4. Notorious B.I.G. - "Somebody's Gotta Die (Brendan Johnson Edit)"

Brendan Johnson is the same guy who made this excellent remix of Outkast's "Da Art of Storytellin'" which got a co-sign from Ryan Hemsworth. This time, Johnson takes on Biggie's classic "Somebody's Gotta Die," stripping the beat away but keeping all the original menace intact.

5. Glass Animals - "Gooey (Mike Slott Remix)"

Glass Animals’ "Gooey" gets a minimalistic rework courtesy of Mike Slott, who removes the percussion from the original and replaces it with shimmering synth washes and effects that will leave you feeling like you're underwater.

6. Wet - "Don't Wanna Be Your Girl (Purple Remix)"

Purple's remix of Wet's "Don't Wanna Be Your Girl" is beautifully atmospheric, a hazy, heavy take that is maybe even more heartbreaking and emotionally charged than the original. Really intense, impressive work from the Berlin based producer.

7. Childish Gambino ft. Kari Faux – “No Small Talk”

With little notice, Childish Gambino unveiled a new release titled STN MTN/Kauai. The STN MTN part is a Gangsta Grillz mixtape hosted by DJ Drama, while the Kauai part is a new EP. The 11-track STN MTN mixtape features few other rappers, but does have Gambino going over Lil Wayne's "Go DJ" beat.

Listen to the Kari Faux-featuring “No Small Talk” below, and download STN MTN from Childish Gambino's website here. Buy the KAUAI EP from iTunes here.

8. Krewe of 77 - "Three's Company"

New Orleans rap collective Krewe of 77 (who we've mentioned before here) take over the Necro beat (with his permission) to Non Phixion's "Black Helicopters." It may not be an original beat, but these kids have a DIY sound, and this beat fits the vibe well.

9. Murci - "Icons"

UK-based producer Murci impressed us with past flips of Brandy and Tyrese songs, and his latest is a smooth beat that incorporates parts of Naughty By Nature's "Iicons. " He uses parts of the vocals and a creates a lurching, hazy new world for them to inhabit.

10. Tunji Ige - "The Ex Song"

Following "Day2Day," 19-year-old rapper Tunji Ige shares another song from his forthcoming project, The Love Project. Like "Day2Day," "The Ex Song" is one of those songs that burrows into your head and gets stuck in there.

11. Lyon & Lowe - "Some People"

Lyon & Lowe is comprised of a couple of Love Our Records artists who collaborate from different sides of the Atlantic. Beyond that, we don't know much about them yet, but they're working on a debut album for 2015, and "Some People" sounds like a great mix of classic melody and futuristic pop.

12. Chaz French - "Came Down"

Chaz French is making the DMV proud with his debut mixtape, Happy Belated, a cohesive 13-track project full that showcases the rapper's range and storytelling abilities. Check out "Came Down" below, and download the entire project here.

13. JOSIAHWISE THE SERPENTWITHFEET - "SIGN OF SUBMISSION"

While we know a little more about him now, JOSIAHWISE THE SERPENTWITHFEET keeps us interested with "Sign of Submission," a piano-backed song that's both eerie and beautifully delicate. Add that to the song's curious lyrics, and Josiah's latest will have you needing to know about the unique artist.

14. Big Baby Gandhi - "Who Shot Ya Part 2"

Big Baby Gandhi couldn't stay away from music for too long. After announcing that he was going to retire last year, he's now back with a new mixtape titled N.H.J.I.C., which is essentially a collection of freestyles that he wasn't originally going to release.

Check out "Who Shot Ya Part 2" below, featuring BBG over the classic Biggie beat, and get the entire tape here.

15. Ghost Mutt - "Oh Boy Oh Baby"

Donky Pitch is a label based in Brighton, UK, that has been staying winning in the bass and electronic music world with releases from the likes of Lockah and The Range.

This year, they're celebrating turning five with a brilliant compilation of synth-filled dance music from friends and family. Download Ghost Mutt's "Oh Boy Oh Baby," which flips a very recognizable sample, below, and grab the whole 13 track compilation from Donky Pitch's Bandcamp here.
