For fans of reggae music, Chronixx is a name that has become quite familiar in the last year or so but thanks to his appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, a sold out show at Central Park earlier this summer as well as a big European tour, the buzz around Chronixx continues to grow everyday. But if this is only your first introduction don’t fret, because you’re just in time.
Chronixx gives a proper introduction to himself and his homeland of Jamaica in his video for “Capture Land”—the latest single from his latest EP Dread and Terrible. To some people, the mental image of Jamaica is only what is shown on the commercials that have been begging us to visit for many years now. But the visuals for “Capture Land” presented by LRG and directed by frequent TDE collaborator Jerome D. give us a look at just how many about different sides there are to the island.
You can look forward to hearing more from Chronixx soon since he is expected to appear on Joey Bada$$’ new album B4 Da $$, which is set to release this fall.
