Right on the heels of the release of his new album Kidnapped, Wara From The NBHD is back to give the fans a little something extra. His latest song, “Case Closed”—which was produced by 8-Track—is almost like a generous two for one deal. In the last minute of the song, the beat switches up and it feels as if it quickly transitioned into a second song. Wara offers two completely different samples of his style on just one track by easily flowing from a smooth melody to a more energetic and grittier beat.
The beat for “Case Closed” is bound to make you bop your head to the rhythm before you even notice you’re doing it and the delicate piano chords allow you to not only pay attention to the lyrics but visualize the story being told by Wara. The switch up of the beat drives the point home by being reminiscent of the roller coaster of emotions people go through when dealing with the ups and downs of life.
