UK production duo The Code are carving out their own little niche in the crowded R&B landscape with their new mixtape 1|11. With the kind of woozy, darkly atmospheric electronic production that The Weeknd producer (and awesome artist in his own right) Illangelo would be proud of, The Code have created their own moody world of dim-lit corridors, smoke, mirrors, and broken hearts. The manipulated vocals and mixture of electronic and more organic sounding production gives the whole mixtape a unique feel, and we can’t wait to hear more from the duo.
