Låpsley left a really strong impression thanks to her exceptional production skills and smooth, molasses-like vocals on “Station” and “Painter (Valentine).” Today, the artist shares the first single from her forthcoming EP, which will also appear on Annie Mac’s (of BBC Radio 1) compilation album, Annie Mac Presents 2014. “Falling Short” sees Låpsley once again manipulating and layering her own voice, but this one really puts her natural voice front and center, sounding more powerful than ever.
