The song is “Free At Last,” and it goes. Crisp piano and a wailing pitch bend in the back give Gambino plenty of room to go nuts and he does just that, riddling the beat with lines like “the Han Solo neck, the fro’s carbonite, the carbon era Arm & Hammer socialite.” S-X seems ambivalent about the future, noting in the song’s description “it was supposed to be my lead single, but whatever. It still can be.” Listen below.
