Daily Discovery is a feature that will highlight a new or recently discovered artist that we’re excited about. See the rest of our Daily Discoveries here.

Aesop is the London-based label that brought us SOHN’s debut single “The Wheel,” and more recently TALA’s fantastic debut EP The Duchess. Clearly, they have a great eye (and ear) for new artists, and with Sylas, the latest addition to their roster, they’re on to another winner.

Sylas are a duo who have been recording in both Frankfurt, Germany and London, and come with a stamp of approval from Brian Eno, who they met through a singing group. Their sound (on “Hollow” at least, since their next song has a surprisingly different sound) is multi-layered and mature, impressively unique, but certainly appealing to fans of artists like James Blake.

There’s a lot going on here, but if you take the time to let all of the intricacies and layers in “Hollow” wash over you, you might discover a track that you just cannot stop listening to. Check it out below and be on the lookout for more music in the near future.
