Brolin - "Swim Deep"

None

Brolin, the masked singer and producer who gave us tracks like “Reykjavik” and “Portland” seems to have a habit of dropping lots of new music in quick succession, and then disappearing to the shadow once again, leaving us wanting more. Earlier this year, he released a mixtape with seven songs called The Flags, but today he’s back with a new song, produced by previous collaborator Raffertie.

“Swim Deep” is an extension of the subtle pop sound that Brolin has been exploring, with the track remaining delicate even as it has a steady four to the floor beat and incorporates some rave influenced keys. “Swim Deep” will be released as part of an EP of the same name on October 27. It is also the first piece of music to be shared heard from Brolin’s forthcoming debut album, expected early in 2015.
